They have been to three consecutive Copa America semis (excluding the centenario) That five nothing loss against Brazil was tactical mistake by the coach. A fluke in other words. 18. My Semifinal Predictions

    Brazil 3-0 Argentina
    Question will be if Argentina can sit back and defend? Do they dare take the initiative? Argentina has never beat Brazil in Copa America in Brazil, and it hasn't been close. Brazil thrashed Argentina 3-0 in the same Semifinal venue in WCQ. I think it will be the same result, because I don't think Argentina can defend.

    Chile 1-2 Peru
    A repeat of the 2015 Semifinal. In reality the spine if both sides sides haven't changed that much from that encounter. The most recent match was a 3-0 win for Peru in October (however Paolo Guerrero and Alexis Sanchez didn't play). The recent competitive matches have been tight though, and it will come down to who is younger, I believe since both play the same. Peru is younger and in club competitions as well Peruvian clubs have been getting the edge on Chilean teams. I think they will get the edge and outlast, the two time Champions.
