  3. The logical final match could be Portugal vs Argentina, but "FiFA" means "French International Futball Association". So, wich means, always French have advantage over the rest of teams.   8. Very happy to be proven wrong : what a match! the fourth French goal is absolute perfection.
    M'Bappé : HE, of course, he was the only one trying to shake off his partners lethargy in the pool phase. That kid is a jet airplane!
    Hernandez and Pavard : very good! Pavard did an enormous error by not marking Angel Di Maria for the first Argie goal but redeemed himself with this extraordinary goal.
    N'golo Kanté : super as usual.
    Paul Pogba : better and better, a bit rusty athletically still.
    The central defense Varane and Umtiti : good match but still THE weak point of France.
    Griezmann : he really doesn't understand Giroud, and he's so fucking slow, he must have swallowed a turtle…For the rest he has immense talent, but how can he show it if he's beaten man-on-man every time?
    Giroud did a lot of obscure jobs, and fred the others by taking so many opponents on himself ; he'll have his moment ; his contribution to the 4th French goal was great.
    KUDOS to the Argies, they played with their guts, and to their wonderful, WONDERFUL supporters, their hinchos! every commentator insisted on their passion, their patriotism, their dedication…Once again, kudos to them! and to Messi, a giant!

  13. France have had one good game, against a deluded team, with no team play and wrong tactics. What makes people think they are amongst the favorites now? They didn't play that well at all, think they will lose the Uruguay!

    The penalty for Frances 1st goal were completely clueless, Mbappe had already lost the ball, and the only reason he "had" to make it in the 1st place were do to really bad tactics from the coach and a line of defenders that completely underestimated his speed.
    France 2nd goal, what a shot from Pavard but we always knew they have great individual players. Don't think they will get enough of those to win against the better teams.
    France 3rd goal, Mbappe get a random ball from a bad Argentine defense, and handel it well. But the goalkeeper should have had that, it's like he could not decide if he should take it with his hand or foot, both would have worked, but not both of them.
    the 4th goal Argentina again have there defensive line to far up front and at the same time they underestimate Mbappes speed.

    The 1st Argentine goal were a really great shot, but how could France give him that much space, what a blunder in there defense. Argentinas 2nd goal France left Messi far to open.
    There 2nd goal, it were good but not the best defending either.
    Argentinas 3rd goal were great but what poor defending by the France, there were to Argentine players closest to the ball and the goal, where were there markings.

    None of those two teams did well defensively!

    On the other hand Uruguays defense have been strong this far, there tactics have worked well, and as they get better opposition there attackers have started to do better as well.

  14. I wanted Argentina to win but it’s kind of fine I guess although I did want Messi to win the World Cup. I’m glad we got a lot of goals. I did predict France to win. At the end there was a player that shot the ball and it was about to go in but Meza touched it and it went out. Sampaoli been trash since the start. But Messi shouldn’t retire because next year they have a Copa America he could possibly win. But after that he should retire. Mascherano already retired. I agree Dybala should have played a LOT more.

  18. It was a great game! Wow is right! France just has too much talent and it showed tonight. Credit to Argentina, they should have played Aguero from the start. Perhaps it could have ended differently for Argentina. I think that volley was the dagger. Incredible goal.

  26. So proud of the french team today !loosing 2 goals to 1 at the 50 th minute of the Game was really frustrating knowing all the talented players we have in our team. But I think this is what the team needed to play his best football in thid world cup.

  27. your prediction was on target dom. I got that one wrong but was right about Mbappe's domination. France finally played as their talent demands. Hopefully the continue playing forward football. They have all the talent to do so. Great match.
