Having gone thru some permutations its evident Argentina will have an EASIER though not easy a task with a RELATIVELY weaker group of Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Poland. And provided portugal tops its groups, they'll still have to contend with a more scary itiniery…. Potentially clashing with Serbia/Switzerland and later Belgium, then France/England in the semis and finally either Brazil, Argentina or Spain at the finals…Phew..!!😨🥵🥵🥵 But no…..Anything can happen.     what does it mean “i think ronaldo is the goat because he has done it in more leagues”? messi has like 28 goals against the english top 6 and has been destroying prem teams in the champions league for years. messi is the most complete player: he is the best playmaker of all time, the best goalscorer of all time having a far better goal to match ratio than ronaldo and the best dribbler of all time, you don’t see any other player do the things messi does on a pitch. if you take away the goalscoring ability from ronaldo he has not much left. and as far as it goes for their international career, messi has carried that argentina squad to 3 finals and 1 copa america win without having the best team on paper while portugal is still a good team if you take away ronaldo (as we can see now, ronaldo isn’t playing well at all for portugal but portugal still manage to win some games). messi is clearly most valuable to argentina tha ronaldo is to portugal.
