Argentina will win the World Cup both in 1986 and this year because:
1.Canada dumped out in group stage (Same as 1986, 3 losses, except they made a history this year for scoring goal through Alphonso Davies in a game against Croatia).
2.Australia were Argentina's opponent in the knockout stage (In 2006, Australia lost to Italy, who were eventual champions that year. When Australia played the first World Cup back in 1974, they faced eventual champions West Germany in the group stage).
3.Poland reached the knockout stage after 36 years.

I know Argentina are way better than they appeared in this group. They were pressured for being the favorites to win this word cup for being 36 games unbeaten. Plus being messi last world cup. Everybody was waiting to see how would they perform. The put the pressure on themselves. Football respects and favors the brave. Saudi Arabia the only team that took it to Argentina beat them. Mexico gambled playing ultra defensive against Argentina now they are out. The U.S went for it against England, got a draw and now qualified. Australia didn’t settle for a draw against Denmark and won. This World Cup can be won by anyone and is the most unpredictable in a while. Won’t be surprised to see the U.S in the semis.
