  1. I think it´s fare to add they won copa america against the actual champion at that time, against italy the champion of europe and again beat the actual champion of the world.

  8. The final was not the best i ve see – only last twenty minutes was great because of Mbappe's exploits. Otherwise most people will forget how Messi played (except for one move). Even you journalists were disappointed with the entire French team the last two games. Deschamp should resign for not putting on strong team and go for attacking football. 1998 final was far better because France had all the stars on the field. With Mbezima, Pogba and AC Milan goal keeper the trophy would have been in Paris

  13. I just wish the English football team would've had an ounce of courage, determination and bravery when playing against the French as the Argentina team had. I don't think Southgate is the right man for the English national team.

  18. I like Juls but man I expect better from him. I usually like and/or agree with his takes on most things but to say that kolo muani could’ve done this or that is just an excuse at this point. Kolo muani didn’t take that last shot too soon or too late. He took it at the right time. He made the right decision especially given the circumstances. Trying to chip Emi Martinez could’ve gone bad and might’ve had the whole country hating him. It was simply brilliant goalkeeping. Crazy reactions from Emi. High IQ

  21. As an Argentina fan.. After half time we can see that France was dominate in second half and Argentina looks like lost a rythme… I just hope the game end in second half after 2-2 because kylian Mbappe bring chaos to defender and if a simple mistake happened it can lead to defeat.. Extra time can give player process the game again

  22. Sorry guys but I thought the ref had a very bad day, which in the end benefited mostly Argentina. First of all, Di Maria clearly dived. It should have been a yellow card for the Argentinian and nothing else. I honestly couldn’t believe it that VAR didn’t send him to the screen. The fact that he was so quick to show Thuram a yellow card for a similar situation makes it even stranger. Secondly, as Jules mentioned it, Otamendi should have been sent off. It doesn’t matter the occasion, that is a red card all day long. And lastly, he ruined a few clear advantage situation for France. Remember the one when Coman got fouled but he continues to run only to be stopped by the referee’s whistle. Mbappe and Muani would have been both through on goal. That is without a doubt one of the worst decisions I’ve seen in the last years.

  23. Julian the better team won period. Mbappe is a “serial killer” of goals but there is a huge gap to a beginner killer of minnows the African guy with last name K (made penalty but that’s it). While Messi a 35 year old serial killer had another 35+ killer DiMaria and at least 6 other great awesome penalty killers

  25. Deschamps had to stop the bleeding before the third goal came or at least try to get things turned around. But he had to make more changes to really turn it around. 5 changes all together. Unsung workhorse for France….Adrien Rouboit

  32. Di Maria was the man of the match. He caused great problems on the front left and a penalty shot was awarded when he was moving to the net. And the 2nd goal by Di Maria was the finishing touch on an incredible combination of passes. When Di Maria left the field around the 65 minute, the game shifted towards France.

  33. I do agree with Gab, this Argentina squad, individually on paper, they are really not the best in their clubs. However, they played very well. I was also questioning why Scaloni did not sub some fresh legs in there to control midfield. France made 4 and Argentina just 1. Messi lost the ball, and nobody could cover his back at that point.
