  1. PSG without the money from the Qataris, their place is to fight in the league and at most the Europa League. A team with only local achievements and irrelevant at the international level, too many claims just to place the responsibility on a player like Messi (when it is an integral problem of the whole club). Messi raised the level of recognition in the world to the psg shirt.

  2. You guys are trying so hard to sell this BS that Leo has no option other than MLS or Saudi. It is pathetic! Leo Messi is currently one of the best in the world. He is far from finished, as you guys are assuming.

  3. Messi doesn't owe anyone anything: he's given so much to the game and to the world, not least of which was his magnificent leadership at the World Cup. Wherever he goes is fine with me.

  4. Julien sounds like an anti-Barcelona fan. Mess'is return brings in good footballing benefits, endorsements and messy is still better than most players in the Barcelona team right now

  5. Jules is a proper messi hater and wants to see him off on a smaller club like inter miami or saudi league instead of Barcelona or another top tier European team since he destroyed France in the World Cup. Quite amazing to see this shift in personality.

  6. As a barca fan he should either go to al hilal or man city as a much as I love seeing him in barcelona it wouldn't be amazing in the Long term.

  7. talking a whole lot of nonsense…prime position is barcelona…i remember when he first signed for psg he said in an interview he promised his kids they would return home after 2 years. he will drop his salary big time and barca can even do a deferred payment for later on after so many years…the amount of shirts he will sell…probably pay his salary and more.

  8. Marcotti is the biggest Ronaldo sucker, he kept coming up with theories that ronaldo could go to Madrid, when he left united and now he can't handle messi playing in Europe while his idol is in Saudi, so he wants messi go to rosario

  9. I am w/ u Gab … They gambled on him when he was a kid w/ physical problems…paid him very very well …C'mon now ….Greed not good … He should have done the obvious longtime ago..

  10. Rosario has a drug violence problem and Messi himself was directly threatened, so probably not the most attractive option for him to move his family to. He could help the same amount or even more if he goes to Saudi and donates some of the hundreds of millions of euros he makes there. 45/45 Saudi or Inter Miami and 10% Europe if someone can logistically make it happen.

  11. Why should Messi play for free?!? You are telling me the best player ever should play for free?!

What if returning to Barcelona goes bad. What if RM demolish them in the league, Messi gets criticized, and now the honeymoon turns into a failed experiment. Its not like Barcelona are struggling in La Liga, they are running away with the title. They might not even play Champions next year. It’s like MJ returning to play for the Wizards. It was fun but not really a great look for MJ.

What is grander than making an impact in the American game. The MLS is growing rapidly, he can have stake in a franchise of his choosing or stake in the AppleTV deal. He can help take the MLS to the next level. With Messi in the league, the MLS can increase the salary cap and seriously compete to become the best league in the Americas. That would mean more than him playing in Saudi or playing in Europe.

  12. in terms of his legacy…going to MLS would probably be the best move…might not get paid as much as Saudi…but man…conquering the American market would boost his legacy hugely

  13. Messi can shine in man city as a midfielder. Those passes from left and right with Kdb to halland will be crazy. Let foden start as a winger on the opposite end to jack. It would be crazy but messi in man city will cement the premier league as a farmers league for sure and city will become more deadly in the ucl. Bernando and gundagoan is leaving city most probably so I won't mind messi at city. The only down side to this midfield combination would be a slight drop in work rate which hernando usually offers. But in terms of passes Kdb with his right and messi with his left they will rival prime Barca's midfielders of xavi and iniesta with a possibility of surpassing it. Halland's stats would get even crazier.

  14. Juls Why do u assume Xavi wants to be fielding the same squad next season?is it wrong for a team to buy a player? Would you be here saying the same thing if barca wanted to sign Nuno Mendez or any other player? anyone can be sold in the summer, whether we reunite with Messi or not,you can't tell me non of those players can be sold in the summer,

  15. It's called professional football. It means he play to get paid and this is his income. Messi's networth is 600 mil for all the years he played. If he can get paid 400 mil in 1 year work, why not? He is still wanted by European clubs but will have to take a pay cut to play there. So the question will be, does he want to be a Billionaire by 2025? If I was him, I will go there and play 1 year and come back and buy a club to play and retire and continue to own. Brighton, Brentford, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are few clubs that cost less than 400 mil. He can also buy a majority in one of most MLS clubs if he wish to play and retire in the U.S.
As far as Barcelona move is stupid and unrealistic. They can barely afford to pay players they have and that's mostly thanks to holding on to Messi and paying him more than they can afford. They are now going to ask players to take cuts on contracts agreed on to over pay another player, I will not agree to that if I was a Barcelona player.
