And the way that the match was interrupted after it started, throws enormous shade on why they did this. It seems or it could be seen, that they tried to influence the outcome and FIFA cannot allow this. COVID protocols/rules or not. It seems like match fix. And it’s not Brasil or Argentinas fault, but maybe someone with ulterior motives.

What they are not saying is that several weeks ago the Brazilian federation and government gave the ok to Conmebol that the match could be played by both full squads if they kept the sanitary bubble, so Argentina received the ok from both Conmebol and the Brazilian federation. If they didn´t gave the garanties then the match couldn´t be played in Brazil and they had to go to a neutral country, but Brazil didn´t wanted that. So they are at fault from the very beginning.
During the Tokyo Olympics, some Nigerian athletes did not follow the covid protocol and they were kicked out (not the whole entourage). Mistake happen and people lie but a strong simple action turned s**tshow. The correct decisions was for the Brazilian FA to suspend those affected players from playing on their turf and not punish everyone. I think politics is what made it this way… Hopefully they find a resolution

Brazilian FA had the obligation to organise the game and they failed badly.

Gab, you are kinda blaming Argentina here! That's very unfair. Argentina were cleared by all parties and had permissions of FIFA, Conmebol, Federal government and CBF to use their players. ?♂️
