  15. Messi is like half the lungs of the Argentine team. His presence in the team matters whether he plays or not. It is possible he will not be on the pitch for the first match or just a few minutes as a substitute and is expected to be fully fit for the second. This is part of the game. Another thing is that perhaps Messi needs to join his country team to prove there is no problem with his performances. If he's not that OK with PSG, it's not entirely because of him.

    It's in his contract to put Argentina first, what a joke ?

    Leonardo made it clear that AFA should not have called him up because he needs rest, ofcourse PSG can't stop him from leaving but this will only make Messi's situation worse amongst PSG fans and hierarchy, I can see Poch benching him again and Messi putting on another tantrum show.

  20. Quite right too. Fit enough to play for Argentina, but not fit enough to play for the Club that pays his extortionate £835k flat wage a week. Argentina had no right to call up Messi. But nice to see that Messi doesn't mind bottling it for PSG, but is quite willing to play for Argentina…After all, they are the easier games.

  21. He was never injured. Just skipped some games to take a little rest. Maybe he is uncomfortable with this Psg team, Messi lived almost his whole life in a club like Barcelona.

  22. I remember when Argentine lost to Germany in the World Cup. As soon as he was given the second place medal he took it off, and didn't even congratulate the German players. He pulled the same antic in the Champions League. Sore loser.

  26. Messi wants to win the World Cup I believe that is certainly clear to anyone that knows a little about FUTBOL. He wants to be the leader that pushes his National Team to be a contender in that stage. What does a leader do? Exactly that even when they are injured they want to be there motivating, talking, applauding, cheering for the team. Now move on and let him be, Messi knows that 2022 is his last chance at the World Cup. Messi will be 35 in 2022 and 39 in 2026.

  28. They have every right to be angry they are his employer his boss paid his million dollars salary. At this point he is only interested in the wcup just like ronaldo he is eager for more individual honors they r the same breed. Winning the wcup will most probably cement each of them the best player in history. Footballers really overpaid even not kicking a single ball still get paid millions really ridiculous the most cushy easy job in the world.

  30. I think I've figured out why these guys are so hard to listen to. They each talk over the other very frequently, clouding their meaning, so you need other clues to extract the meaning. Normally, the tools available include lip reading, accent, and several properties of each voice such as frequency, overtones etc. Here you can't reliably use lip reading because we can't see their mouths consistently. Their accents are very dissimilar, but that's minimally helpful since most of their interruptions consist of brief stabs, single words, word fragments etc. So we're left with vocal timbre. Their voices are quite similar in pitch, so we're left with only the other qualities that make up timbre, like overtones, and they're hard to decode in brief fragments. They don't leave us much.
    Guys, if you're going to interrupt each other, you have to stop doing it in brief vocal stabs of inarticulate sound. That serves only to disguise what the other is saying. If you're going to interrupt, do it in longer phrases which can be decoded. Otherwise, just stop interrupting. You're very difficult to understand.

  37. Gabby baby is incapable of being spontaneous and pulling information out of his own personal experiences as a player. Mr egocentric self-glorifying legend in his own mind. But he does have ratings haha
