The result means that Lionel Messi and his Argentina side will progress to the knockout stages and will face Venezuela in the quarter-final. Paulo Dybala also made an important contribution off the bench tonight.

  7. IMO the starting line up against Venezeula should more or less stay they same but the SF and F if Arg make it there should be.

    I think Dybala from now on should be used as an impact sub coming on from 60-75th Minute. Acuna should also definently be used as a sub due to his energy and the fact that he can go up and down the pitch. Like a Matuidi/Vidal type role. Rodriguez HAS to play in the latter stages as Paredes is not enough to be the anchor in midfield. It will also give Paredes license to be little bit further up the pitch as he can be the link. After the subs the shape should look like this.

    Also the third substitute could be anyone but IMO that is a balanced team with 3 attacker 3 midfielders and the defence obviously.

  14. Hello Barca fans. There is a toxic kid called Ronaldo has 2 international trophies. He goes around finding every way to trigger and argue with us. The worst thing is he is not even a considerate arguer. He won't except anyrhing and will call Messi 'Pessi'. He will insult anything about you (Name, profile picture) or Messi. When you see him in the comments please do all or one of these things

    1) Report for hate speech

    2)Dislike the comment

    3) Finally comment "hater be gone" and ignore him.

    Hopefully he will eventually leave and just stop with his toxic arguments.

  16. messi played bad today, you cant lie. Im not saying he is a bad player, some games are not his, and today was one of those days. He gave away the ball the most among the whole team, and missed two easy chances

  18. Why didn’t Argentina take mousacio from ac Milan, Sergio Romero/rulii or Gomez. In my opinion with these Additions I think they can win the copa America. Because when they face Brazil or Uruguay there defence are getting penetrated

  22. I would put Dybala in. the team seem more stable and he did assist Aguero's goal. The big problem is Foyth. He is a loose missile. He loses the ball, he gives free kicks in areas that are unnecessary and at risk of getting a red card too. The team needs a better player to fill out his place.

  27. They have played a lot better tactically but it wasn’t good enough, especially with hungry teams in the quarterfinals…. Messi and aguero dint look like they were on the same page, the two CBs and goalkeeper looked sketchy with the fouls and decision making..Do I think Argentina will pass the quarterfinals? Probably not.. There was a slight spark on how they played.. not a whole spark, they have to be faster with passing and they need to slow down the game at times, it always seems they rush and look for Messi to much
