  2. I get it if It's done as a sort of protest…(autogol) , but this is calculating and unsportsmanlike ( unsportswomanlike ) conduct….
    I hope they lose to that "easier" opponent..

  3. Great example as to one of the reasons why round robin leagues, like Serie A, Bundesliga etc., are superior to playoff tournaments. In playoff leagues, forfeiting like this is oftentimes the strategically smart move. Which of course can not happen in a strictly round robin league

  4. Reminds me of playing Pro Evolution Soccer about 15 years ago and being 22-0 down at half time with all own goals. French guy I was playing was screaming at me to play the game while I was sitting laughing.
