Lautaro was NOT offside…VAR officials should hang their heads in shame ! and Julien's comment arount "just offside is still offside" is incorrect. Although not the case in the Martinez goal, there is obviously a subjective interpretation in where VAR draws the line of the shoulder…it is a human being and NOT some automated system that is infallible. if it is obviously millimetres in a call then on the basis of simple error in calibration, the player should not be ruled offside. the benefit of any doubt always goes to the attacking team. Long story short, Argentina were ripped off.
