  24. Greatest ever is a complex issue and is mostly subjective .. I used to be a very skilled left footer( like most left footers are born with this )but due to the environmental I grew up in one's football career can never flourish ,becaue of how highly skilled is was I judge this a little bit differently from the common eye , I judge this from a technical percepective, for me the the GOAT conversation ended a long time ago somewhere as early as 2011 to 2014 , messi has done a lot of things , but for me what cemented his GOAT status was this dribble https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CA-_PI7qXos . The average person can not understand the Intricacy of this ball movement with his feet, technically its the most outstanding dribble he has ever done , to go Into a crowded area with that sort of will to skillfully get passed several bodies using "la croqueta skill" is still mindblowing to me as a technical person . You see messi has got the ability of what I call the inside dribble , a very rare skill to have, he is not the only one to have it , but he has it at the highest level above everyone using both feet while doing .in the world today and in the past most players only have what I call the outside dribble , but messi has both the outside dribble and inside dribble in an almost perfectly high level .by outside dribble , I mean getting passed players just from the outside , I mean flicking the ball outside the defender , we often see this when players are cutting inside . an illustration of outside dribble or dribbling from the outside is representated fully by several players , but most notably none other than arjen robben who almost always dribbled from the outside as illustrated in this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CeV1xtbzwbA . Although there are good players who posses this skill of both inside dribble and outside dribble like, neymar ,iniesta , Maradona , brazilian ronaldo ,ronaldinho, George best , marco verrati , hatem Ben arfa etc they don't possess it to the high level at which Messi posses it , and mostly only use one foot except in a few occasions . Messi almost always makes the right split second decisions on whether to go left or right ,when to hold on to the ball ,when to release the ball, this is innate , although it's possible to learn with practice, to him it almost come naturally without much effort . I would like to first mention that am a die hard madrid fan, messi really tormented us during the era of the great barceolona team ,I dont hate Barcelona we are just competing rivals ,I really respect the team and what it stands for the idea of playing " total football " .so barca fans we are not enemies at all, u guys were fortunate enough to have the most humble football genius nerd to ever walk the earth . He deserves it and what sticks out to me the most is that he never really wants to even be considered the GOAT, he just wants to kick a ball . He deserves it .

  25. Absolutely surreal! I'm gonna be celebrating this for a while. This is the most magical story ever, the journey and to know Messi actually finished it off with the 1 trophy which has eluded him all this, the 1 moment everyone wanted for him, and for it to happen this way against the last champions, this moment was surely reserved for the conclusion of the story book of the magic man. He's actually won a all his international trophies by beating champions. All this is just surreal.
