  1. La diferencia entre Messi y Ronaldo, es la misma que hay entre Argentina y Portugal. Es comparar a uno de los tres mejores equipos del mundo con uno medianamente bueno. El que no entienda que Messi es el mejor jugador, no entiende nada de futbol. A nadie que sepa algo de este deporte le importa la cantidad de goles sino la forma de jugar. El futbol sudamericano es arte, el europeo puro físico.

    These fanboys know nothing about football. Messi has done nothing in any world cup he has played in, as he does not have the ability to play well against the best international players. Also, Messi in 80s Barcelona would have had zero Ballen d'or and more visits to hospital than goals.

    Messi is just a club level player. Maradona was a world beating player at the toughest of times to play football ever. If Maradona played in this era, he would have scored dozens of "Goals of the century" because he would not be butchered like he used to be in every match he played in. Oppositions were frightened of him hence the brutality against him

  9. This guy talking about Maradona, has he ever seen guys trying to take down Messi? They tried everything but it didn't work. Rio Ferdinand said that he couldn't even get close to Messi. Meaning that he wanted to be physical with him but he didn't get the chance because Messi was too skilled and too fast. It was not that defenders didn't try hard enough to take Messi down, it's just that they couldn't. Defenders in the Messi era have even more reason to take him down as there has been too much talk about Messi for so long. Yet Messi was too much to handle. Sorry but as great as Maradona is, he's still just a little behind Messi.

    I know people may argue that Pele and Maradona should be ranked higher. But the reason for this is R9 was a monster in his prime which was way better than Pele and Maradona. Di Stefano clearly was been a better playmaker and he played under the worst conditions possible. Also, he took his team to glory consistently. Also, he could play in any position including the goalkeeper's. Pele has 3 WCs which is true but he wasn't even the best player in his team in two of them. He barely played one of them because of an injury; but his team still managed to win. He may have great numbers, but most of them are against small teams. On the other hand, Maradona doesn't have great numbers.

Some say maradona is the greatest, some say Messi, some say Renaldo, some say Alfredo de Stefano. But judging by the majority of the world, Pele is universally accepted as the greatest and true King. Messi, Renaldo, maradona and the others are just immitations, that's why they all wear the number 10 shirt, All in Pele's shadow. Pele made the number 10 shirt into a symbol.
