  1. Im so old I can remember the bad old days of dinosaur rugby, I mean can you imagine having to play 15v15 for the full 90 minutes? It was awful…and don't get me started on the refs in those days, you'd go through an entire season and not even notice them, we were all like "what are we paying you for if you're not getting stuck in"…you cannot say that about em now, they're working overtime to earn those big bucks… that's fan power in action..and get on this! I've saved the best to last… In dinosaur rugby you had to pass the ball BACKWARDS!! Jesus the game was in such a state… Thank God for world rugby…yay world rugby

  2. Worst referring performance I've seen in a while.
Etzrbeth yellow card for pushing an offside obstructing player out of his way (who didn't impact the actual dangerous play).
Two penalty tries when the Argentina players stayed on their feet and didn't collapse the maul (SA would probably have scored anyway but why the pen try?)
Etzebeth try disallowed for catching the line-out, keeping hold of the ball and diving over??
Very poor…I hope I don't see this ref again.

  3. They've got to find a better way to penalize than yellow cards, it's getting silly…the refs job is to keep the game safe and flowing and players have a responsibility to do the same, not resort to cynical play a la South Africa etc…

  4. Etzebeth yellow card was a weird one – same sort of action happened in the English Premiership this weekend with a Tigers player pushing a retreating Saints player off the ball in to the ruck area, resulting in a Saints jackler being knocked out cold but no penalty was given, nevermind a yellow.

  5. Le roux is just not our best fullback (I'm gonna keep It real). Arendse should start at 15. I believe Kolbe might take Mapimpis place when he returns (we have to play our best players). Esterhuizen deserve more game time. De Alenda never pass. Wish our backline can be more creative. We got great players in the back .

  6. I detest Eben Etzenbeth however, I always try remain fair minded. When it comes to this yellow card I'm gob smacked. Yes it was a robust play by green 4 but by domino effect blue 14 landed badly. An accident end of story.

  7. What a crappy game. Idiotic calls by the ref, Eben did score the try, he never let go of the ball, so he was the ball carrier, and then how about the player blocking Eben when he pushed him and got the yellow card.

  8. One of the worst games I've ever had the misfortune of seeing. 39 penalties. Endless lineout mauls. Interminable stoppages to the game. Rugby is in a bad place at the moment.

  9. As an Argentine I love the fact that I am pissed off when losing to these teams either home or away these days. Standards have risen which is a good thing.
How would we fare in a six nations though?
