1. (1) France exposed Croatia in 2018. Croatians are very fluid in progressing the ball. Their mid dominate the field. They run & give passes in unusual angles. And when countered, Croatian mid is also the first one to stop the counter. Their sideback will storm forward to stop the counter, leaving behind a lot of spaces in the wing. France has Mbappe exposed this weakness. I can see Di Maria does the same.

   Also Croatians conceded two goals from outside penalty box by Mbappe and Pogba. That shows their defense depends much on their mid and forward player pressing upfront rather than coordination between the mid & the centerback.

   Also France defended in a total way. Mbappe, Griezmann, Giroud all fall back to defend when Croatia countered. If Argentina forwards willing to defend in the same way, why not?

   (2) Brazil exposed Croatia yesterday with Neymar goal. Croatian defense is not compact like the Morrocans. One twos combination can penetrate this gap between the lines. Argentina is very capable for one twos combination.

   Basically Croatians are fluid in progrssing the ball because of the mid and wingbacks coordination's is very good. Not so much with the Centerbacks. If Argentina can bypass the Croatian midfield & forward players, then its just a matter of one-two ing through the centerbacks like Neymar did yesterday. May the best team wins.
