  6. I have to say… As a big fan of tactics, this is exceptional analysis. Usually even commentators dont go this far. When coaches do this analysis during the match, you just win matches by creating a system that can later adapt in the course of the game.

  11. Croatia was very lucky and I mean lucky because Brazil felt very entitled and I mean very entitled and lost to Croatia. Croatia didn’t beat Brazil. Brazil beat themselves. In order to win this World Cup you need multiple players that have creativity and are able to score with very minimal opportunities. Brazil has those players. But blew it because they took it for granted. Argentina almost fell to the same fate as Brazil but were given some luck from the soccer gods. Croatia doesn’t have the creative players that can score. They’re great at moving the ball. But not finishing being creative. Argentina and France both have creative players and finishers. This will be a very tough match for both sides. But I do feel Argentina has a stronger defense.

  17. Tactical analysis ? What a load of hindsight BS trying to get everybody brain-damage. Argentina beat Croatia because Messi was in form and the stars were aligned. Yes, he is a great player and can create great opportunities to score goal either by himself or his team mate. Seems to me a lot of analysts trying to gain subscriptions on Youtube with all kinds of rationales. Let us just enjoy the last of the Messi greatness and let him loose to do his thing. Personally I hope he gets the WC which is the only tournament that has eluded him so far.

  29. The unsung Hero was the ref. You cant be that gullible. All Messi's penalties went without being checked by VAR. The ref was calling this game for Argentina before the BS penalty and wave of yellow cards that followed and barely any for Arg. Oh how the game wouldn't have turned if there was no Fear of another big name being kicked out. Second goal was due to fear of another BS yellow /red card on the keeper. You want to win, win fairly. Not like this fellas. Don't be sheep, be gauchos.

  31. Did everyone forget the penalty given, which was definitely not a penalty, it would of changed the course of the game. The truth is Fifa, the media and everyone else who has that position of power in football, all want Messi to win this World Cup and are pushing for him to lift the cup.

  35. Argentina did not do much before they were gifted PK that destroyed croats and they recived 3 yellows and 1 red for asking VAR.Ref ruined game in favor of Argentina

  36. the penalty was undeserved. The keeper just doing his job to keep the goalpost, and the attacking player also run toward the keeper. This is unfair as the attacking player can run toward a goalkeeper but the other way round.

  37. I think Paredes and Tagliafico were the unsung heroes in this game. Croacia’s midfield is their power and Paredes managed to vanish them. And Tagliafico what a performance. Always first on ball, and with great decisions.
