  1. I'm not sure what Mark trying to say here. Although Messi is in great form and the core of the Argentina team, they proved yesterday that they can win comfortably with great display even when he doesn't shine with great goal or assist, that's very important and actually Messi feels more calm and relaxed that the team wouldn't rely only on him. They have quality players and it's in Argentina's favor that now almost everybody write them off to reach even semis since the loss from Saudi Arabia, so no pressure on them.

  2. Congrats to Argentina 🇦🇷 but Poland 🇵🇱 didn't chase the ball at all. And Messi's penalty was far more egregious than Ronaldo's pen. Won't hear complaints from the Messiboys though. Ronaldo scored his penalty. When the football gods gift you a pen, you better score it.

  3. Someone tell Mark Ogden that world cups are always won by teams working together to achieve same goal. And there was no better example of that than watching Argentina playing against Poland. A single man can't win a world cup.

  4. Acuna was terrible in this game, so many poor passes and give aways. Alvarez was a spark plug but Martinez, DiMaria and Dibala have to be involved in helping Messi otherwise Argentina will have a hard road. Totally confused by Polands lack of any offense, they played dead the entire game and could have easily given away their hopes if Mexico had scored a third. Now the fun begins.

  5. Messi played meh today. But the rest did very good well played. De Paul is shaky af they need to bench Martinez missing easy chances it’s tragic they need someone that’s clinical.

  6. God has Forbidden ESPN fc to talk anything bad about Messi and anything good about Ronaldo. Even when Portugal ESPN fc were talking about the penalty and Bruno goal but with Argentina they don't even talk about Messi penalty miss.

  7. Well Argentina don’t have a very difficult path until the semi finals.
They need to overcome Australia in R16 and Netherlands in QF.
    It’s not so difficult.
But they will face Brazil or Spain in the semifinals. That could be difficult.

  8. Messi is BACK playing great football again! My 7-year-old son SALIH is small, but very fast, he plays like mini Messi. I hope he gets to fulfill his potential one day!. Check out his videos on my page!.

  9. Gosh this people are so disgraceful.
Crying Messi need help messi need help

    Is Messi a cripple?
I thought y’all say is the greatest of all times
Why does he need help to shine 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ronaldo doesn’t need help to shine!
All he needs is the ball .
He will take care of his business all alone.

  10. 🤣🤣🤣 This guy knows nothing about this Argentina team. Scaloni always rotates his team. I wonder if he notices that even when subs are made the team plays the same way. Argentine is a dynamic team. The team is not Messi reliant or dependant. These pandits haven't realize it as yet. Typical English pandit.

  11. If I'm being honest, I really don't see what this Messi fuss is all about. Argentina is a lot more than just Messi. It's frustrating when these pundits try to make it seems like he is Argentina.

  12. Who are these people at ESPN? Why do they always talk down on the greats of the sport for some views when they talk nonsense? Argentina played well, Messi had a fantastic performance despite missing penalty and the team looked better, but of course ESPN has something bad to say rather than good! 🤣🤣

  13. The only game Messi was mid was the Saudi game. I'll say the worst game i saw Argentina play was against Mexico I've never seen such dogshit performance 1st half but Messi magic saved them and subs were key. Third game he played good.
