  1. No. It was only in the final third the lack of quality showed, it was glaring, no speed, no control, no final pass. The midfield was great, moving ball side to side.

  2. Argentina very good yesterday with fully deserved win. Having said that, a tip to whoever they meet in the final. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT have any physical contact in your own penalty area….

  3. People say Modric carried this team when in reality their keeper and the defense did it. Zero assist zero goal this wC but yeah Modric is top 3 midfielder of all times according to Real fans. 🤦‍♂️

  4. We didnt play good. We were off balance and after that shocking penalty and quick second goal, it was over. Something wasn't quite right from Croatia from beginning. Maybe that hard match against Brazil took their composure.
Congratulations to Argentina. Hope they have chance against France.

  5. Croatia lost the match to the tactical and disciplinary superiority of the Argentinians. Croatia disrespected Argentina by being in a hurry to score goals when they know their attack is very weak. Their poor final third actions failed to compliment their high quality midfield efforts and the more they tried to score the more mistakes they made into the hands of Argentinians who are very good in the counter. Against Brazil, Croatia were more disciplined and very meticulous in moving forward because they're more scared of the attacking prowess of the Brazillians. But they saw Argentina as a weaker team and got severely punished. Had they played the way they played Brazil which i expected them to do, Argentina would have found it extremely difficult to score a goal against them. But that is football. Now they're in the final i really wish they win the Cup to reward Messi for his several years of hardward and records breaking. This will bring the final closure to the GOAT controversies that have lingered for a few years now and then we know the indisputable Greatest Of All Time and every one can now rest.

  6. Modric wasnt kept quiet, he played a great game, not by his standards but a great game nonetheless. Without a doubt was their best player in the game. Argentina were just too good. Julian Alvarez i stiil dont get how he scored his first goal, the defence were maybe too worried about messi popping up from left or right or idk.

  7. Whether they win or lose the final on Sunday (and I think they'll lose if they play France ) if there was still any argument over the whole Messi V Ronaldo debate it is over now, 2 world cup finals in your career is an incredible accomplishment.
