  1. Brazil problem is his stars go to Europe at very early age, and they don't have a brazilian identity. When you see the brazilian national team, it looks like you are watching Netherlands or Germany.

This players are not technically brazillians……..is not just skills (of course, Emerson and Augusto are not even 2% of Roberto Carlos and Cafu), but they look like a regular defender from any other team in Europe………..also is shocking to see Brazil does not have a free kick expert…..20 years ago, Brazil had at least 5 to 6 people who could score a free kick goal (Juninho, Roberto Carlos, Kaka, Ronaldinho, Branco, Dunga)…………..who is the new Romario? who is the new Ronaldo?…….Gabriel is more close to a Bebeto, and that's too much of a compliment…..where is the new Adriano?……………….this new generation of players probably don't even know who Garrincha was (and this is not just a problem in Brazil….Argentinian players in 2018 were visited by Batistuta, and they had NO IDEA who he was, they thought some journalist came!)

Also you can see a team of players without hunger. Today a futbol player is a millonaire by the age of 17………30 years ago, unless you were on the top10 of best players, you will not see your first million until you reach 25 and you managed to play for Bayern Munich, Real Madrid or Manchester United…………..this early rich life made this new generetion a weak player who is more concerned to prevent injuries when playing for his national team, because he wants to keep playing for his european team, where he gets paid a million dollars per year (Messi for example, many times pretended to be injured to avoid being selected for the national team, and that same week he played for Barcelona, or they force a red card in order to miss the next game if it was going to be a tough one)

  2. This TEMPO problem persisted at Fluminense throughout the season. It's not something exclusive to players, it's Diniz's defect. I believe that GANSO only lessens the effect of this defect.

  3. Neymar would never be this kind of player that dictates the rhythm of the team. Rodrigo/Rodrygo BTW is another player with similar caracteristics of others like Neymar: get the ball possession and start to run with it without a colective purpose. This generation lacks this kind of player and also lacks good wingers and midfielders in general. I believe the best option is trying Lucas Paquetá at this position since he has played on every position as midfielder and forwarder since he began his professional career. But for me this generation is doomed. It is hard to make a good recipe with lots of just one good ingredient and all others are still missing.

  4. what about Ganso replacing Neymar as the No. 10? I've been hearing good things about him over at Fluminese and how he's been that "playmaker"
Would he be good enough to slot in for Neymar?

  5. Defining the problem as IMPATIENCE was brilliant. So glad you can see better than most Brazilians what the hell is going wrong with our squad. People are blaming Diniz for being a bad manager, but things are clearly improving. LET DINIZ COOK 🍳

  6. It's generational. These current players are soft, weak, lack grit. If you watch games from the 90s to early 2000s you can see the difference, those dudes were committed not worried about their looks, midia, tattoos, haircuts and all that bs. Now players make sure to get a fresh haircut before a game lol. That's just an example of this fresa generation. Brasil is done.

  7. I’ve said this in many occasions that football today isn’t the same as before. The remnants of the OG football are Messi and C. Ronaldo. When these 2 retire, the sport will become just a sport.

The difference between today’s football and before is that everything today have been europeanised and they all play like robots or AI bots. It’s like these new players are created in a lab or a video game. Whereas before, every player had their own individual characteristics of playing, hence why they were able to create a name for themselves. There was actually original arts in their play.

Today, every player, club and international levels, play the same way. No differences. Very boring. All they care about is being pretty feminine boys covered with tattoos.

In terms of Brazil, the last great blue-chip player that will be remembered in history is Ronaldinho. He was the last of the great dragons for Brazil. After him, I can’t see anyone who can make a mark.

I worry about football when Messi and C.Ronaldo go. No more big names will be created.

  8. As much as good as Rodrygo is. It's an atrocity of a 10 like we have never seen, even Lucas Moura right now is much better as replacing Neymar and that's not even debatable.

  9. Never lost a home game in the World Cup qualifiers EVER until now?! Sorry but that is neither a coincidence, nor a mark of their infallible quality. There have been plenty of less than stellar Brazil teams before this. Law of averages would have caught up with them long before this.

The only difference is that Brazil used to have CONMEBOL in their pockets. They used to play with 14 players at home. Now in the age of VAR and social media dissectors etc., they have been forced to give up that advantage. It was only a matter of time.

  10. It was a very unfair game, especially at the start. Argentina probably messed up the warm-ups with the situation in the grandstands where the police were attacking their families and Argentinean fans. The game itself is secondary in that context.
Obviously, having 70 minutes of Messi injured is like playing with 10 players, which didn't help. But the biggest thing in this game was that Brazil committed so many fouls it was crazy. I don't have the data, but I'm pretty sure the Brazil national team had never made so many fouls in history, so it has to be a shameful record.
They were desperate to pressure and stop Argentina from playing with the fouls, and there should have been way more yellow cards at the start. They made the game really ugly and deserved the loss.

  11. To be honest and everybody ain't saying thisBrazil players arent good enough there's no flair and quality they just keep falling down trying to get a free quick they don't go pass players like the 1990s and 2000s. When they play for their euro teams they are not consistent as well. They need help in their academys..

  12. When you think about great managers, how many of those are brazilians? Brazil has ALWAYS had the players to make A1 teams. But they are not among the best when it comes to producing TOP managers. I won't say the brazilian managers are bad, just not great. The only good manager I can think of is Tite.
So the answer for why Brazil is coming up short in the WC and other matches is more than obvious. They need to stop hiring Brazilian managers and get one from Europe (Italy, Spain, Germany, etc). Argentina also has the goods. But they are the rival, so it won't happen.

  13. Brazil will be fine once they actually nail down a full time manager and a clear approach to playing. Brazil will always be a team with top class players. But they also bring their playing habits from their European clubs.
The organisation and management chaos at the federation level is affecting the team.

  14. No need to dive deep, Brazil without Neymar is shit. Now without Neymar AND Casemiro it's beyond shit.

Also Diniz shouldn't ever be a NT manager. His style relies heavily on training and everyone being on the same page, this is not gonna happen in any NT.

  15. Well in that game particularly Brasil was way better and penaltina won robbed like always (conmebol always favors them, that was not a red, the VAR didn't even call and there was a clear hand ball that they didn't give the pen for Brasil), I wonder when will that stop, giving them a WC was not enough?…despite that being said is clear that Diniz is terrible and that yes ofc we need a playmaker and today our best option is Paquetá…
