  1. Lionel Scaloni is a sincere and up-front person who responded as he felt. The pressure must be tremendous and Argentina will be in transition as Messi looks to his retirement. The Scaloneta was an immense achievement for this boy from Rosario.

  2. Im so surprised that Marcotti is dismissive of Argentina's talent. They have won two international tournaments in row and they aren't that talented? Come on that sounds like jealousy.

  3. He has already won everything at international level. What else does he have to prove? Copa champions, Finalissima and World Cup champions.
Depends what his inner objectives are.

  4. Scaloni won’t leave until the Copa America 2024, but perhaps after the tournament. If the Argentina national team wins the Copa America 2024, then he will think again. Maybe he will stay for the World Cup 2026, because all the players want it. The main question is what Scaloni himself wants. Maybe he is already tired and wants to rest. He has already won everything, he has no motivation…

  5. Gab sounds a little bitter for the succes of Argentina the last two years. I remember him
saying in Qatar that Argentina were "a mess" after the win v Mexico in the group stage. Sorry Gab we are world champions.

  6. Lionel really helped Argentina win the World Cup
Lionel was great but if it weren’t for Lionel, Argentina wouldn’t have won
I would I say the biggest reason Argentina won was because of Lionel and second most important was Lionel, no other order

  7. That game was a reflection of what football has come to today. A lot of rolling around, simulation, diving and pretending to be injured ruining the spectacle of the game. Every game is like that now in European and South American club and int'l football. The referees keep getting conned by the players' reaction and the VAR replays make every contact look worse in slow-motion speed
