Lionel Scaloni is a sincere and up-front person who responded as he felt. The pressure must be tremendous and Argentina will be in transition as Messi looks to his retirement. The Scaloneta was an immense achievement for this boy from Rosario.

That game was a reflection of what football has come to today. A lot of rolling around, simulation, diving and pretending to be injured ruining the spectacle of the game. Every game is like that now in European and South American club and int'l football. The referees keep getting conned by the players' reaction and the VAR replays make every contact look worse in slow-motion speed
